French FCUK .

French Connection could never be accused of being politically correct. When the first stores opened in Melbourne it left many of the senior generation less than impressed. They didn't like seeing those four letters emblazoned across our chests no matter their order; though that was nothing compared to when some bright spark decided to use the slogan "Too drunk to FCUK". The outrage was overwhelming, condemnations came from across the board and naturally it became the one tee you had to have.
Since then things have changed; the chain has settle into the mainstream and, at least here in Australia, the collection have become far 'safer'. It seems though there may still be some fire in the beast though, as the new French Connection autumn/fall 2010 campaign builds on their successful spring 2010 man/woman campaign.Though this time they've brought back the expletives.
